Tips for planning a banquet hall layout
- Round tables (60") seat 8 guests comfortably and need about a 12' × 12' footprint with chairs.
- Leave 4–5 feet between tables so guests and servers can move freely.
- Reserve 2–3 sq ft per guest for the dance floor — a 15' × 15' floor fits about 75 dancers.
- Place the head table with a clear sightline to the entrance and dance floor.
- Account for the buffet, bar, gift table, and DJ — each needs 6–10 feet of clearance.
